The Best Locations for Camping

Taking a vacation and go on camping out of town or out of the country would be a great idea to relax your body and mind. Explore nature and be amazed with the wonders and beauty that it has in store for you. Just don’t forget to double check your camping checklist to make sure nothing is left behind. Here is a list of some of the best location for your outdoor camping:

Yosemite National Park, California

Yosemite National Park, CaliforniaThis beautiful park has lots of deep valleys, centuries-old giant sequoia trees, waterfalls that make its way to the Yosemite Valley and different animal species. Yosemite National Park is almost 95% percent remote area or wilderness. It means there are no transportation, no establishments and no electricity as well. Have fun sleeping under the stars inside your camping tent and wake up to the cool breeze. Start hiking in the morning to reach the Glacier Point and get a splendid view of the Yosemite Valley, Yosemite Falls and the Half Dome.

Shenandoah National Park, Virginia

Shenandoah National Park, VirginiaThis national park extends a great distance in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is best known for its Skyline Drive during the fall because of the amazing and changing colors of the leaves. It is a road of 105 miles running the whole length of the park itself.

Miyajima, Japan

Miyajima, JapanMiyajima Island is located in Japan and one of the most scenic spots and has been known as the Island of Gods situated on the lovely Seto Inland Sea. It is the best place for romance especially for lovers and couples alike. It is where the Itsukushima Shrine, a World Heritage site is situated together with Virgin Forest found in Mt. Misen. The best thing about camping here is walking with the domesticated deer that roam the island.

Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Maasai Mara National Reserve, KenyaIf you love animals and safaris, this is the perfect place for you where you could sit on your folding camping chair beside your outdoor camping tents and watch the yearly migratory march of the zebras, wildebeest and Thomson’s gazelles that only happens between July and October. You can pitch your outdoor tents along the banks of the Mara River and witness more animals drinking and taking their bath in the river banks.

Yellowstone National Park, USA

Yellowstone National Park, USAIf you are looking for geysers and a large biodiversity of animals and plants, you don’t have to look somewhere else. For most nature lover like me, this is the best place to be. You will find here numbers of different mammal species and 330 species of birds large and small. So don’t forget to bring your binoculars and cameras to get a glimpse and a shot of these wonderful animals.

Jasper National Park, Canada

Jasper National Park, CanadaThis national park never runs out of different activities such as swimming, kayaking, skiing and fishing which is my favorite. So, camping food is not a major problem since you have some delicious fishes to cook. This is also considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with numerous geographical structures to enjoy like the Rockies and mountains dotted with lakes, water falls, glaciers and hot springs.
